ALL SPORTS SUMMER CAMP
2017
(8 weeks)

SPEED, STRENGTH, AGILITY AND CONDITIONING

Dates: June 5th – 30th   and July 10th – August 4th  

Days:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Location: Trotwood Park – 701 Northern Way, Winter Springs FL 32708

  • Ages: 7-10 and 11-13
  • Pricing: $80/week or $480 for 8 weeks (must be paid in full)
  • *Registration for the subsequent week must be completed one week in advance to ensure proper coverage. E.g. Participation for week 3 must be completed by the beginning of week 2.
  • Each camper will receive camp shirt, water bottle and end of season awards celebration on Aug 5th).

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Each participant will have a baseline assessment to be completed during the first week of camp and re-evaluated at week 8.

Each week, campers will be provided with a one-page info sheet with tips or instructions to help them in their progress for continued fitness and healthy lifestyle and general well-being

Campers will be grouped by age and fitness levels. Each day will begin with general warm up and stretching. We will then move into general conditioning exercises and group routines. We will utilize plyometric devices, resistance bands and balls etc but most of our activities will be centered around using their bodies and muscles for resistance, (calisthenics) thus building strength naturally and organically. We will utilize various stations to ensure that each camper gets ample attention and focus as required.

This program is designed to inspire our youth to get moving, staying active and to understand the importance of a sound mind sound body. At ASET, we utilize a Holistic approach to training young athletes. We recognize that in enhancing the lives and success of our athletes, focus must be placed on creating an overall balance that ultimately leads to long-term success.

The focus of the camp will be based on  Core  Strength & Conditioning, Injury prevention, Movement Training, Power & Plyometrics, Athletic Performance, Proper nutrition and rest. Another component of the camp will be having a little fun while staying fit. We will incorporate some group activity to encourage sportsmanship and team-building.

We will end the summer with a Fun Recognition event that  will hopefully inspire the kids to continue working out and staying healthy and hopefully get involved in an organized sport if feasible. There will be prizes and recognition and some back to school goodies. So if you want to be challenged and inspired, join us!!
